The Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) course teaches pediatric emergencies that reinforce the importance of a systematic approach and emphasizes the importance of prompt patient assessment and care through the use of a series of videos and simulated pediatric emergencies. Course content includes:
High-quality Child CPR and AED. Infant CPR
Apply team dynamics
Early intervention for respiratory distress and failure
Early intervention for treatment of shock
Recognition of various cardiac rhythms and appropriate treatment
Post-cardiac arrest management
